Hey there, my friends! Happy Friday to you! I did a lot of thinking on my hunting trip and decided that I’m ready to part ways with this one of a kind squash blossom. At one point in time I needed a mountain to climb and this squash blossom was it. It does me no good just sitting here. I’d like to see it go to someone who appreciates it as much as I do. I’ve rambled most of my life and am tired of being a vagabond. I’m ready to buy some land and settle down. Letting this special piece go would definitely help that cause . This blossom is made with over 11 ounces of silver and over 300 carrots of high quality King’s Manassas turquoise. It took over 200 hours to craft. Each bead is handmade. Each blossom has ordinate detailed interlocking stamping and detailed silver work going around the stone. There is a lot of symbology in this piece. The bottom piece is called the Naja. The space in between the two claws on the Naja represents the spiritual world, and the piece itself represents the physical world. In making this piece, I had to overcome many obstacles. If I would have let fear or doubt overcome me, it would have never been finished and we wouldn’t be looking at this beautiful squash blossom. The same goes in our lives. If we never put ourselves through struggle and constantly seek comfort, our souls will never blossom. I named it “Alma de Oso” soul of the bear. Bear claws inspire strength. I always try my best to honor these bears lives. I’m a hunter and I like to incorporate bear claws and elk ivory’s in my work. The work is a reflection of our culture. It shows that we have advanced technology to have the ability to mine, refine collect different materials and fabricate yet at the same time we embrace our ancestral hunter gather traditions. This blossom took second place at this year‘s New Mexico state fair. This statement blossom is museum  quality. This necklace sits at 27 inches
